Is it best to make a donation to the Friends or to the VT Division for Historic Preservation? Which or what entity gives the Morrill Homestead the most flexibility on how to spend the money? We were up there on July 7th and the house wasn’t open, but a wonderful docent driving by happened to see our car and stopped to open the house for us. It was a real thrill, since I had included the Morrill Land Grants in my dissertation on the early history of the Univer. of Minnesota. Jsut want to send a tangible thanks.
